December 22, 2006Swedish/Greek melodic death metal outfit NIGHTRAGE has completed work on its new album at Hansen studios in Ribe, Denmark with producer Jacob Hansen (RAUNCHY, MERCENARY, FEAR MY THOUGHTS, HEAVEN SHALL BURN). "The end result is fucking amazing," the band writes on its web site. "The songs turned out really good and we
Can't wait to share it with you guys."
As previously reported, Lifeforce Records has set a February 26, 2007 European release date (April 4, 2007 in the U.S./Canada) for NIGHTRAGE's follow-up to 2005's "Descent into Chaos". Songtitles set to appear on the CD include "Spiral", "Reconcile", "Encircle", and "Scathing".
NIGHTRAGE once again utilized the services of Pierre Lysell from the Swedish band NONE as the second guitarist for its recent tour with VADER. The band also recently announced the addition of drummer Alex Svenningson (ex-MINDFALL) to its ranks.

(DREAM EVIL, FIREWIND, MYSTIC PROPHECY). NIGHTRAGE released two albums on Century Media Records, "Sweet Vengeance" (2003) and "Descent Into Chaos" (2005),before they parted ways with vocalist Tomas Lindberg (AT THE GATES, DISFEAR, THE CROWN) and Strimell joined the band on vocal duties.
